Ward is born April 15, 1976 in MonroeLouisiana. Ward attended Monroe Christian School, a Christian private elementary school. Following the completion of her high school education, Ward moved on to River Oaks High School in the summer during her junior year. She was a member of the drill and dance team. After a short period of time, after graduation she attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward left her high school when she was thirteen years old and began modeling. Several years later she decided to attempt her hand at acting. The first time she was cast without credit in the late 1970s for the soap-opera All My Children. Later she was a part of NBC's short-lived prime-time teen drama Malibu Shores. She landed the role of Meg Cummings, a virgin on Sunset Beach in 1996. She began her quest for a movie career starring as her neurotic Brittany Foster in the erotic thriller The In Crowd. The film, which was at first a failure financially in cinemas and then on video-on-demand (VOD) was able to become wildly well-known. Ward played a part in Shallow Hal in the year following, in which she played a supportive role. Ward also was a guest on numerous TV shows as well as direct-to dvd movies. In 2009she was cast in the role of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of an unnamed gymna in the ABC Family drama series Make It or Break It being a part in the principal cast for the series' first two seasons. The personal side of her life is a relationship with producer David C. Robinson. The couple has a son called Cameron.
