Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in the United States. She has been recognized by the media and for her television work since the 1980s. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they got married. Qualification: B.A. graduated from the Yale School of Drama School with a Master's Degree in African American studies, in the year 1980.
